You are a work of God, both in your will and in working for his pleasure.
In this verse, we are reminded of the incredible truth that God is actively at work within us. It is not through our strength or determination that we grow in faith or accomplish His purpose. Instead, God Himself empowers us, shaping our desires and actions to align with His will.
This truth brings comfort and encouragement. When we feel inadequate or uncertain, we can trust that God is working in us, giving us the desire to follow Him and the ability to carry out His plans. Our role is to yield to His work, surrendering our agendas and allowing His Spirit to guide us.
As you go about your day, remember that every step of obedience, every act of service, and every moment of growth is fueled by God’s power at work in you. Rest in His grace, and let His purposes unfold in your life.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for the assurance that You are at work in me. Help me trust Your guidance and surrender to Your will. May my thoughts, desires, and actions reflect Your goodness and bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, amen.
